Iowa State University of Science and Technology, or more commonly Iowa State, is a public research higher education institution based in Ames, Iowa. The university is organized into eight separate colleges which offer a wide range of bachelor’s and master’s degrees for its student body of approximately 33,390. Its facilities are famous for their exclusivity, for example having the only on-campus U.S Department of Energy research laboratory in the country.
