Established in 1911, Skidmore College is a private liberal arts higher education institution, located in the town of Saratoga Springs, in New York. It is considered one of the New Ivy schools and has an average enrollment of 2,600 students who pursue a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in one of over 60 areas of study. A student government association is in charge of running the 130 student clubs and organizations on campus, ensuring a better social experience. Skidmore College puts a strong emphasis on creative thought, community involvement, and sustainability which permeates all aspects of student life at the college, both in and out of the classroom.
