Established in 1885, University of Arizona (U of A) is a public research university located in Tucson, the second largest city in the state of Arizona. A land-grant university, UArizona was the first HEI in the Arizona Territory. It enrolls close to 46,000 students yearly and is considered to be one of the top 100 universities in the world. The main campus in central Tucson has been developed as an arboretum and has plants and trees from around the world.
