PROS

• The food at Vassar is varied, with vegetarian and vegan dining options available. In general the kitchen staff are happy to accommodate students’ needs.
• There’s a liberal, progressive environment on campus.

CONS

• Getting good accommodation on campus can be difficult, as not all suites are of equal quality. Administration normally doesn’t allow students to request another suite if they don’t like the one they were assigned. Vassar is gradually renovating all of its nine residence houses; however, progress is slow due to lack of funding.
