Course Description
This professionally-oriented programme is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence that are key to succeeding in the dynamic world of multinational companies and international financial markets. Alternatively, you might choose to use the skills and experience to work in the public sector or set up your own business. Accounting and Finance play a crucial role in running a successful organisation and contributing to economic growth. Accountants and finance professionals are needed in assessing revenues and expenditures, complying with regulations and providing management, investors, government and other stakeholders with key information for strategic decision-making purposes. You will gain a solid grounding in understanding the role that accounting and financial information plays within organisations, and how to apply this information in such a way that it has a real impact on management decisions and the communication of relevant information to external parties.
At Bangor Business School, we have a highly qualified team of leading academics with professional experience and interests in a wide range of accounting and finance topics including: international accounting and financial reporting, taxation, corporate finance, corporate communication, financial markets, and credit ratings.
