Archaeology
Our Canterbury Campus is in a World Heritage site, making it an excellent place to study Archaeology.
You will participate in funded fieldwork placements, where you will gain practical experience and transferable skills.
Our expert staff will support and inspire you in your academic journey as we explore the past, from the earliest human origins through to the present day. You will study the theories, methods and practice of archaeology including laboratory analysis of artefacts and skeletal remains, survey, excavation and computing techniques, and contemporary debates in archaeological thought.
History
Our Canterbury Campus, located in a UNESCO World Heritage site and right in the heart of a beautiful cathedral city, is the perfect place to study History. The academic team are all professional historians, active researchers and published authors of national and international acclaim. The course they’ve designed allows you to follow your interests wherever they may lead. In your second and third years you can study a specific period or mix-and-match several.

About Canterbury Christ Church University
Founded in 1962, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has two campuses for Undergraduates, with one being located in the urban setting of the town of Canterbury, Kent and the other in Medway.
