Film, Radio & Television Studies

Learn about and work in a variety of media, using industry standard equipment and facilities. You’ll soon be ready for a career in the creative industries.  You’ll have access to:

  • refurbished £350,000 television studio and gallery

  • film and post production equipment including the Arri Amira and Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro digital film cameras, AVID Media Composer and the Adobe Creative Suite

  • four dedicated radio studios, a student radio station CSR (Canterbury Student Radio) run by FRTV students in Christ Church and the University of Kent

Visiting industry professionals and former students will offer you guidance and advice through workshops and dedicated masterclasses.

Marketing

In your first year you will take introductory modules that give you a solid grounding in general business, and in the second and third years you will study marketing planning, market research, consumer behaviour and global marketing.

For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Founded in 1962, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has two campuses for Undergraduates, with one being located in the urban setting of the town of Canterbury, Kent and the other in Medway.
