Course Description

The department offers supervision leading to the research degrees of MPhil (minimum registration two years) allowing participants to complete a 40,000-55,000 word supervised thesis, and PhD (minimum registration three years) allowing participants to complete an 80,000-100,000 word thesis constituting a major piece of original research work. We are able to supervise a wide range of topics, in line with the research interests of our teaching staff. In broad terms our research work is focused around the Research Centres described below. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. About Royal Holloway, University of London

Royal Holloway, University of London, was founded in 1886, and is located in the suburban setting of Egham, South East England. The campus is home to an impressive Victorian era Picture Gallery, which serves as a museum for a collection of highly-valued art. The Royal Holloway Founder’s Building, the main feature of the campus, is where students will find their on-site accommodation, as well as the old style but extensively equipped library.
