Research degrees in Mechanical Engineering are offered through three research specialist centres: Biomedical and Microengineering; Advanced Manufacturing Centre; and Vehicle Technology. Our research is often interdisciplinary, involving not only other areas of engineering but also biological sciences, chemistry, medicine, physics and psychology.
