Our Foundation Year provides an excellent alternative route to Keele, providing a unique opportunity to better prepare for your chosen degree, and with guaranteed entry onto your undergraduate course once you successfully complete your Foundation Year. This extra year of study can improve your academic skills, expand your subject knowledge, give you a better understanding of higher education and, perhaps most importantly of all, build your confidence. On the Keele Foundation Year, you'll study on campus, joining our undergraduate community from the outset, with access to all the facilities and support that you'd get as an undergraduate student at Keele.
International Students
Law with Politics
Combine the study of law with the study of politics to uncover the relationship between the law and the political systems in which it develops and is implemented. Through research-led critical education and a range of opportunities, such as the Community Legal Outreach Collaboration programme, the LLB Law with Politics allows you to delve deep into these issues, and to become an informed and critical citizen ready to deal with the 'big issues' facing our world.

Law with Politics explores the key principles, doctrines, and application of law alongside the theories and importance of politics in society. By engaging with English, European, and international law and politics, you will be equipped to consider the relationship between the two disciplines in theory and in practice. Both branches of your study will be informed by our research expertise and will nurture you in the development of valuable, critical and analytical practices that will equip you for a wide range of careers.

Established in 1949, Keele University is located in the rural setting of the large town of Newcastle under Lyme. The university’s facilities are all within walking distance from the centre of campus, including Union Square where students can find a Pharmacy, the Library, and even a student Post Office.
