Course Description
The MA Criminology offers an academic appreciation of the practices and theories relating to crime and the responses to it. Whether you are a recent graduate, or a professional working with young people, the MA will enable you to gain both a critical understanding of contemporary criminological theory as it relates to young people, and the tools to conduct research in this, high profile and often contentious, field.
The MA aims to meet the intellectual needs of those seeking a career in the community safety / criminal justice sector or for those interested in further study at PhD level. It addresses contemporary issues within the study of crime, community safety and criminal justice.
