Student Opinions About Studying in Newark

“This is a very densely populated city, and for me that’s really not a good thing, especially when you’re trying to drive home after work and you can’t because you’re stuck in Newark’s daily traffic jam. That said, I do like the city’s green spaces which are beautifully done.”

“There’s a culture of hard work in Newark. I say this because it’s the kind of place where people seem to value working or studying more than anything else, which is great if that’s what you’re looking for, but it seems to be the case that because of this the city doesn’t make a lot of time for music or art.”

“I’m a life-long Newark resident and I can admit that we still have a lot of work to do when it comes to entertainment and nightlife in the city, but if you can appreciate the simple things it’s a fine place to live.”
