Rankings of Rutgers University-Newark

Rutgers University-Newark, is one of the three regional campuses of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The now defunct University of Newark merged with Rutgers in 1946. The biggest programs at the Newark campus include Criminal Justice, Business, Nursing and Public Affairs and Administration and the library is home to the largest collection of Jazz related materials in the world. The New Jersey Institute of Technology is located right next door and it’s possible for students to cross register at both institutions. The Newark campus is considered to be one of the most ethnically diverse campuses in the United States.
