Rankings of Ryerson University

Toronto Metropolitan University, until very recently known as Ryerson University, is a publicly funded research university in Toronto, Ontario. Its campus is located in one of the busiest intersections of downtown Toronto and surrounds the Yonge-Dundas Square. The university runs Canada’s largest undergraduate business school, the Ted Rogers School of Management, and one of Canada’s largest undergraduate engineering schools, the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science.

About Ryerson University

  • Students like that the campus is large and spacious, and also that it’s close to downtown Toronto. This means that students have a wide array of options for places to eat, buy books, or anything else they need.
  • Being in the heart of Toronto, students have more chances to find employment due to the location. Many Ryerson students even pick up a part -time job to combine with their studies.
  • QS has ranked RyeU high globally, being among their top 1000 universities in the world, and among the top 150 for Art & Design programs.

CONS

  • It has been pointed out by students that not all of the courses on their website are available, because it doesn’t get updated.
  • Gym facilities would be appreciated, currently, students don’t have anywhere to stay in shape on campus.
