This pathway of our practice-based, industry-focused course equips you with the skills, knowledge and experience needed for a sustained career in popular, contemporary and commercial music industries.

Through continuous support and feedback from professionally experienced tutors you develop your skills across performance, music creation and production along with essential music business knowledge and practical experience. Underpinned by a thorough understanding of music theory; you leave as a highly skilled and educated musician able to make decisions to take control of your career.

About Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts

The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) is a Music, Dance, and Acting college that was founded by Mark Featherstone-Witty, as well as Paul McCartney. Students here have access to all the facilities they could need, such as state-of-the-art audio recording studios, the George Harrison Workshop Studio, Sennheiser TV Studio, among many others. LIPA does not deliver university degrees, but instead awards its graduate students “Companionships”.
