Course Description

The International Labour Organisation estimate there are over 100 million workers affected by accidents or through ill health. Companies are increasingly recognising that the protection of employees is of financial benefit and this degree programme utilises a range of approaches including process safety, behaviour based, management systems and adaptive systems to develop appropriate health and safety culture.

A rewarding and ever-developing field, this course will allow you to enable people's welfare and wellbeing at work. From helping to prevent work-related illness and stress to understanding how motivation can impact on health, the course is varied and constantly developing. You'll not only improve the quality of people's lives, but do so in an area where, owing to the very nature of the employer-employee relationship, it can often be hard for individuals to put their health first.
