Course Description

We have a championship winning race team that has competed at Castle Combe, and at the BRSCC OSS championship with our Radical PR6. Our modules have an excellent blend of theory and practical sessions to give you both the fundamental understanding of each topic along with relevant practical knowledge and skills for industry. During each year we carry out a large range of industry partner visits to the likes of Xtrac, Williams, Force India and other related motorsport engineering companies. We also have a series of guest lectures throughout each year. We have a range of well-resourced labs and workshops including a damper dynamometer, head flow bench, composite facilities, wind tunnel, CAD rooms and a general motorsport workshop as our main features. Small cohort sizes guarantee ample contact time throughout each module to give learners the support and assistance that they require. Links to industry provide us with a wide range of work placement and employment opportunities with companies such as Fortec, Neil Brown Engines, Team West-Tec, Mark Bailey Racing and In2Racing among others.
