Law (Senior Status) LLB (Hons)
Queen Mary University of London
Key Course Facts
Course Description
Do you already have a university degree, and want to add an LLB to your CV?
Our Senior Status LLB is an accelerated version of the three-year Law LLB. Designed for students who already have a degree in another discipline, this two-year programme is an excellent option for anyone considering a legal career, along with those who have a general interest in law. It’s also well-suited to those with a law degree obtained outside the UK which has not included any core UK law modules.
During your first year you’ll study the core principles of law and learn the skills you need to read and apply legal documents, such as Acts of Parliament, EU legislation and case reports. Your second year will allow you to choose from a broad range of specialist fields – such as human rights law, criminology, intellectual property and medical negligence.
You’ll have access to the student-led Senior Status Society, which offers support and guidance with coursework and organises events and opportunities exclusively for Senior Status students.
