Founded in 1733, St George’s, University of London (SGUL), is located on the outskirts of London, between Wimbledon and Streatham. St George's specialises in Medicine and other Health-related careers including, but are not limited to, Clinical Pharmacology, and Physician Associate Studies. “I’m excited to be a part of a new and diverse community. I’m meeting lots of knowledgeable and passionate people, but also working very hard as the workload is considerable here.”
“Even though it’s not the biggest university, you still get plenty of opportunities to socialise, and the fact that almost everyone you meet is an aspiring healthcare professional, is great for immersing yourself in the subject. That said, occasionally you find yourself wanting to change the subject, but in terms of benefits for your career trajectory I can’t complain.”

- As the university is located in London, learners have many options for a day out, as well as all the public transport possibilities to make it easy and convenient.
- Students agree that SGUL’s clubs and societies provide excellent social opportunities. Some popular options include Karate, the Ahlulbayt Society, and the Red Cross.

- The admin team can be slow to reply to emails, according to students. For this reason, if you have an important matter to resolve it’s recommended to approach the university directly.
